Product information
In 2003, Controlsa S.A. presented a new concept to the world of cargo bays with its international patent, the Celon® system. Celon® offers a shelter, sectional door and hydraulic platform all controlled through a single integrated electronic and fully scalable control panel.
The concept behind its design is to provide a cargo bay with integrated security, control and a guidance system for loading and unloading trucks that is equipped with luminous and/or sound indicators.
The electronics system has been designed to control several sets of equipment with a single control panel, setting up authorisation for access to the cargo bay; sharing and processing signals from other systems and obtaining information in real time with respect to the state of all cargo bays, all contained in one central unit.
Sectional Door
Insulated sectional door, formed of panels made of white enamelled galvanised steel sheet, and an interior insulated with 40 mmm polyurethane foam.
Sequential operating system for door and ramp, making it impossible for improper movements to occur. Allows for indication of status of bays, open or closed doors, platforms in descending position or not, and whether there has been any incidence of impact to the shelters by trucks during approch movement.

Insulated sectional door, formed of panels made of white enamelled galvanised steel sheet, and an interior insulated with 40 mmm polyurethane foam.
- View port optional
- Panels are linked by means of galvanised hinges
- Galvanised steel guide tracks housing nylon-coated rollers with galvanised steel shafts that are secured to the panels
- Vertical seals on the guide tracks; horizontal seals on the upper and lower panels
- Electronic power kit (using a frequency converter which confers smooth starting and stopping) with single-phase electrial supply
- 24 V DC sequential operation (preventing incorrect movement between the door and hydraulic ramp)
- Hydraulic platform with lip; hydraulic raising/lowering action + lip operation. Raising-lowering cylinders fitted with safety vale to protect against hose breakage
- Special Controlsa frame
- Optional set of rubber stops
- Lateral foot-protection skirts
- Coloured lateral bands
- Hydraulic operating set with three-phase motor, controlled by electronic power kit with single-phase electrical supply
- 24 V DC sequential operation shared with door
- Structure manufactured from black anodised extruded aluminium
- Bellows manufactured from galvanised steel (Folding shelter)
- Distance pieces manufactured from extruded aluminium (Fixed shelter)
- 0.8 mm thick PVC perimeter with textile mesh for strength
- Black coloured front PVC with double textile mesh for greater stiffness
- Collision detectors on vertical frames (optional on folding shelters)
- Formed out of continuous 150 mm diametre x 2500 mm length welded tubes, set at an appropriate height for securing to the floor. Painted galvanised finish.

- The Celon® system offers customers the opportunity to do away with individual electrial pre-installation for each cargo bay, and have a centralised device from which to control bay operations, including specific authorisation for use.
- In the event of power failer, a small single phase uninterrupted power supply (UPS) is sufficient to operate all bays (doors and ramps)
