Insulated Sectional Overhead Doors.
A range of insulated and glazed overhead doors designed for industrial units, storage buildings, modern vehicle workshops, showrooms, fire and ambulance stations and other applications where an easy to operate, strong weatherproof door is required.
The door design allows various panel arrangements, glazing infill to provide maximum transmission of natural light, thermally insulated panels or a combination of both panel type.
Each door is custom manufactured to suit most types of structural openings and designed to give a smooth quiet operation whilst still retaining a neat self contained appearance. Four models are available:
- Minimum clearance for door gear: 500mm. Vertical Lift.
- Minimum clearance for door gear: Opening height + 800mm. High Lift.
- Minimum clearance for door gear: 1675 (standard), up to 3305mm for specials. Low Headroom.
- Minimum clearance for door gear: 230mm
Maximum height: 5500mm (3650mm for low headroom model). Maximum width: 6500mm (6000mm for low headroom model). Weight: 20 kg/m² of door opening. U-value: 0.47 W/m² through the panel, giving an overall figure on a 16 m² door of 0.5 W/m².
HP200 Plastisol range of colours (subject to availabilty) or Polyester Stucco finish (subject to availabilty)
Galvanised steel inner and outer face in-filled with cfc free polyurethane foam. Each panel has a male/female anti-finger trap joint, with a compressible rubber gasket seal, forms a total thermal and weather-proof joint. The panels are ribbed and each end enclosed with a galvanised reinforcing cap for even greater strength and durability.
Glazed frame sections formed from aluminium anodised extruded sections. Standard glazing is 3mm Plexiglas. Double glazed units are available with a 16mm cavity as an optional extra. Vertical And Horizontal Tracks
Tracks and mounting angles are made of heavy gauge cold rolled galvanised steel manufactured to suit site conditions. Hinges And Roller Assemblies
Both hinges and roller brackets are manufactured from high quality stainless steel ensuring clean operation and long life. the rollers are sealed for life bearings, nylon coated to give extremely quiet and smooth operation.
On doors up to 12 m², operation is normally push-up and pull-down. Doors in excess of 12 m² are by handchain or electric drive. Optional electric operation is by fractional 415V, 3 phase motor with limit switches and emergency hand operation in case of power failure. Standard ‘up’, ‘down’ and ‘stop’ control box with thermal overload protection.
Each door is individually balanced using high tensile helical springs mounted on bright steel shafts running in ball races. The counterbalance is transmitted by high quality steel cables, attached to aluminium cable drums above the opening and each side of the bottom panel.
Weather seals are fitted as standard to all jambs, head and sills, giving total draught and weather protection.
A shoot locking bolt is fitted as standard but various locking arrangements are available on request.
Fitted to inside and outside of bottom panel.
Optional extra with lock and 2 keys.
May be fitted as an extra and are 600mm wide x 300mm deep acrylic double glazed units in profiled rubber frame.
