Hardware-based copy protection

Each CmDongle can simultaneously activate up to 6000 different licenses (of a maximum of 4 billion possible licenses).

It is available in many compatible form factors and uses standard algorithms (AES, RSA, and ECC) to provide maximum security. A Smartcard chip at the core of the CmDongle provides maximum security against hackers. Secure, file-based remote programming allows licenses to be modified at the customer's premises. Each CmDongle contains an internal clock and can be connected to the Internet. CmDongle firmware can be updated to equip old devices with new functions.
