State-of-the-art printing technology
Videojet's Encore system represents the next stage in printing technology.
The use of improved user interfaces with full screen resolution control highlights the new level of performance.
The versatility of the system is particularly evident in the fast alternation of printing texts, which are created quickly, simply and virtually error-free. Printing can be carried out at speeds of up to 61 m/min.

Replaces pre-printed material or labels
The Encore system enables printing with a resolution of up to 300 x 150 dpi.
It therefore allows you to carry out variable, flexible online marking to the quality of pre-printed material (e.g. pad printing). The two supported printheads enable online printing of graphics, bar codes and True Type® fonts with font heights of 1.5 mm up to 51 mm. The system is able to cover secondary packaging almost completely with print. Time-consuming, pre-printed material or expensive labels for boxes are replaced with dynamic, customised marking.

Effective text creation
Creating printed texts is quick and straightforward with the Encore Controller. Using drag-and-drop, printed texts are created in no time at all. The WYSIWYG display minimises input errors. A self-explanatory interface allows the user to print customer-specific data and formats, as well as batch numbers or shift codes, in accordance with specific requirements.

Encore Controller software
The Encore Controller software was developed on the basis of the Windows CE® operating system. The Controller software can be started from a PC and enables printed texts and codes to be created offline, which can then be transferred by downloading them via Ethernet or an RS-232 interface. The software makes it possible to create a central database of printed texts. To reduce input fields, bar code scanners can be used to read in variable texts.
