Swisslog acquires light goods logistics specialist EVOmatic

By purchasing EVOmatic Engineering Solutions GmbH, Swisslog strengthens its capabilities in the area of light goods logistics.
EVOmatic, based in Thalheim near Wels (Austria), specializes in innovative automated
technologies such as miniload cranes, load handling devices or shuttle systems. „The material
handling technologies of EVOmatic will bolster Swisslog's competitiveness in the area of light
goods logistics. The acquisition is part of our strategy of expanding the solutions portfolio in
high-growth business areas," says Daniel Fink, Head of Swisslog's Warehouse & Distribution
Solutions division.
EVOmatic is a small start-up engineering company founded in 2003, which draws on thorough
experience in developing successful logistics technologies.
