TransCar automated guided vehicles travel across multiple-floor facilities with narrow aisle-ways and human traffic, and relieves hospital staff of heavy lifting tasks. This AGV system does not require embedded wire, tape, or chemically applied guide paths.

Laser Guided Vehicle Designed for Safety and Efficiency

TransCar is a bi-directional automated guided vehicle equipped with safe dual range laser obstacle detection. The vehicle positions beneath hospital carts of various designs, elevates them off the floor surface and safely transports loads up to 1,100 lbs (500 kg). The AGV safely interfaces with elevators, doors, wash devices and other automated facility equipment.
