The Stertil dock leveller model HQ is the latest development in the field of dock levellers with telescopic lips. The minimum lip length is 600mm with a standard option of 1000mm except on 2000mm long platform models. The infinite positioning possibilities of the telescopic lip makes the HQ model ideal for the first/last two pallets where traditional swing lip dock levellers can be problematic. During goods movement the lip and platform adjust automatically to the height changes of the truck.

  • The HQ dock leveller meets all safety requirements of European directive EN 1398.
  • The 0.75kW motor/pump unit is integrated into the reservior, this includes the emergency stop value which is activated from the control box.
  • Control box - safety class IP 55 with a lockable main isolator switch.
  • Pre-connected 8m cables for connecting the control box and pump unit are supplied with the unit.
  • The platform is made of 8/10mm thick tread plate (10/12mm for the 8 tons versions), steel quality S 355 JO (steel 52).
  • The telescopic lip is made of 12/14mm thick tread plate (15/17mm for the 8 tons versions).
  • The platform is built as an orthotropic structure.
  • The suspended hanging frame is a fully hot dip galvanized, self-supporting structure suitable for suspension in its pit by means of curb angles with concrete anchors.
  • The platform can twist 125mm in either direction to accommodate unevenly loaded trucks without dangerous gaps forming at the rear hinge.
  • The rear hinge gap between the platform and the frame is virtually closed. This eliminates gaps and makes for a smoother transition for small wheeled trucks.
  • The standard protection consists of steel blasting, a primer coating and finishing in ocean blue, RAL 5020. Total layer thickness is 80 micrometres.
  • Stertil's own design cross traffic legs increase the security of your building and also offer a more reliable support system than sitting the lip on external saddles.
