The RCS PLUS is an accurate and low-priced weighing system for forklift trucks, more precise and better priced than competing hydraulic scales. The maximum error is 0.2% of the weighing capacity. On a forklift truck with a capacity of 2.500 kg the weight is shown in 2 kg steps. The fact that the pressure sensor is not subject to any friction or wear makes the RCS PLUS virtually indestructible.

The RCS PLUS weighs by measuring the pressure in the hydraulic system of the lift truck, by means of a sensor that is mounted on a valve block. Weighing with the RCS PLUS is very user friendly. It starts with lifting the load on the forks to a fixed reference height, marked by 2 stickers on the mast. Pushing a button on the indicator sets the system in motion: the load on the forks is automatically lowered for a few seconds. During this controlled descent the RCS PLUS repeatedly measures the oil pressure in the hydraulic circuit. The indicator software translates these measurements into an accurate weight of the load on the forks. This weight is shown fixed in the LCD display in the cabin. The RCS PLUS is an excellent tool for check weighing on a forklift truck, at goods reception, for determining shipping weights, preventing overloads, stock-taking, stock control etcetera.
