This innovative system consists of the IDENT Control evaluation unit, to which the various RFID read/write heads can be connected at the frequencies 125kHz (IPH Series), 250kHz (ISH Series), 13.56MHz (IQH Series) and 2.45GHz (MVH Series). The field bus interface (Ethernet, PROFIBUS, DeviceNet or serial) is integrated in the housing and all connections are of the plug-in type.

Thanks to the metal housing, the earthing option and the complete screening of the cable, an optimised EMC concept is achieved.

The assignment of parameters and input of commands can take place either directly at the IDENT Control via function keys or via the host to the field bus interface.

The IDENT Control System is the first step towards cost optimisation of the RFID read technology, providing greater flexibility in programming, unified operating procedures, open connection to all commonly used field buses and minimisation of down time.
