JCB is one of the world's largest manufacturers of construction and agricultural machines and equipment. But for over 10 years JCB has been manufacturing its own unique design of telescopic counterbalanced forklifts, the JCB Teletruk.

The Teletruk product is manufactured at JCB Compact Products Ltd, Cheadle, Staffordshire, UK. The Teletruk is available through a wide number of specialist JCB dealers around the world.

JCB is particularly well known for its range of Backhoe Loaders, and 'Loadall' branded rough terrain telescopic handlers. It is the telescopic handler concept, which JCB developed in the late 1970's, which formed the basis of the Teletruk concept of 1997. For the Teletruk, JCB took the idea of a variable reach telescopic boom, and applied it to the small chassis footprint of the conventional counterbalanced forklift. The result is the world's only counterbalanced forklift with a variable reach telescopic boom.
