Shelf Labelling at nobilia

In an over 170,000 m² production area, nobilia produces 420,000 kitchens annually. Over 2000 kitchens leave nobilia's factories every day via the company fleet.  

Nobilia uses inotec's Diomaster labels for shelf labelling in its warehouses to ensure the correct racking and picking of individual kitchen furniture. These single-layer labels are made of robust polyester and digitally printed from the underside so that the barcode is not directly on the surface of the label. Because the barcode is protected by a layer of polyester film it can withstand scratching, wiping and a high degree of mechanical wear while remaining reliably readable.

Inotec has also provided nobilia with an innovative solution for its floor labelling needs. Because the use of screws or rivets for the installation of floor labels is a safety hazard for employees and warehouse vehicles, inotec's heavy duty labels are attached to the floor with an extra-strength adhesive. Where warehouse vehicle traffic causes conventional labels to shift, detach or be damaged, inotec's floor labels, digitally printed on sturdy polyester, withstand demanding warehouse conditions. "Nobilia was already satisfied with the stability and durability of the Diomaster labels during the test phase. The labels are extremely durable-even in warehouse areas with the heaviest traffic," said Matthias Bodenberger, technical advisor in materials management at nobilia. "The price/performance ratio and the delivery speed are good reasons to use inotec labels."
