These multi-level summaries were created in order to facilitate the management of barcodes in warehouses equipped with multilevel racks, and reduce costs induced by barcode identification. Those labels gather all the barcodes of a column, with an unlimited number of levels. This allows the operator to read with a standard short distance barcode reader all the codes a zone on one board.

To further improve the readability, a specific colour code is added to each barcode for every storing level. This colour equivalence facilitates the operator’s tasks, improving their productivity and reducing eventual errors.

There, labels are usually situated on the vertical ladders of the racks. Those being profiled and perforated, the support is made of very thick polyester. Its rigidity avoids deformations of the codes due to the profile of the ladder. Resistant, it avoids any deterioration of the label or the markings due to rubbing or impacts.
