How It Works:
Using color-coded images affixed to each item, Visidot allows capture of an unlimited number of unique items. The patent-pending Visidot™ technology allows not only counting, but image bank storage, registration, tracking, and tracing of assets. Static or mobile image readers record items in stock or in transit, capturing hundreds of IDs instantly, updating the information in a database, and exporting it to any Warehouse Management System or ERP System.

Items are assigned unique labels which are affixed to the assets. The reader records large numbers of labels simultaneously and transmits the information to a image processing system. This information can be exported in any format by a gateway. Images are stored in a separate Image Bank database. An easy-to-use management station manages the entire process.

The Visitdot solution is made up of the following components:

• Visidot™ Tags:
  Highly durable, yet inexpensive Visidot™ tags can be applied to almost and material and can be designed to withstand years of use in the most demanding processes. The data contained in each tag can be integrated easily into almost any EPC infrastructure.
• Visidot™ Reader:
  The Visidot™ Reader can capture the data from hundreds of Visidot Tags in a single read. Readers can be configured to capture tags at great distances and are able to capture stationary or moving assets.
• Image Bank:
  An internal database includes a bank of digital photographs taken during data capture.
• Gateway:
  For customers using ERP or WMS systems, Visidot™ offers a gateway for full integration. Data is exportable in any format.
