Progressive Assembly Systems
Carousel-based progressive assembly systems are most often used in high volume manufacturing/subassembly operations, or in growing companies with intensive manual sub- or final assembly requirements.

These applications effectively control line balance without the significant engineering effort typically required of single level, paced assembly lines. Vertical use of cube provides an excellent (and visual) means of buffering product to accommodate large differences in operator or operation dwell times.
