High Speed Door

It offers new opportunities to increase safety in the material flow process. By adapting the opening and closing speed to individual needs, energy costs can be reduced and working environment improved. There are several upgrading possibilities as needs change.

• Short opening time: It is available with an opening speed of up to 2.5m/s
• High safety is standard: It meets the demands in the harmonized European standards and has several safety features
• Life expectancy and reliability: It has an electric opening and closing system with a soft start and stop function, which prolongs the life of the door. The door can have a battery backup added as well as a range of automatic opening options, depending on the level of access required. The door withstands high wind loads
• Self-repairing system as standard: If the bottom bar is knocked out of its guide rails, the door stops immediately. It then automatically reverses to its starting position and repositions itself correctly in the guide rails
• Day & Night Solution: It can easily be combined with a Crawford Folding door or Crawford Overhead Sectional Door in order to have the most optimal solution with low passage time during work hours and burglar protection during night time.

Door leaf construction
It is made from one sheet of 2-ply reinforced polyester and a bottom bar. It rolls up above the door opening and requires little space.

• Top: It is connected to a fabric roll, located in the header box above the door opening.
• Bottom: The bar is equipped with a self-repairing break away function. The C-bracket edges on the bottom bar are connected to T-brackets that slide through the side columns. It contains an optical safety edge and a polyester seal to the floor. It is made of anodised aluminium.
• Side: They are fitted with zippers that are connected to zippers in the side columns. If the door leaf is pushed out of the side columns by a vehicle collision, the door will open at reduced speed, and the zipper reconnects.

Colours
The RAL-colours are as close as possible to the official RAL HR collection. Max. deviation is 1,0 ΔE

• Standard: The door leaf is available in all 5 colours
• Optional:
  - Styling painting: On side column covers and header box cover: Any RAL colour, except metallic or fluorescent.
  - Corrosion protective painting: Selected parts can be painted with a two-component paint (ISO 7253 and ASTM D 2247) in RAL 7004 grey.

Windows
A standard Crawford 855 high speed door is delivered with a full coloured door leaf. Optionally, the door leaf can be equipped with one row of transparent PVC windows. The windows measure 700x700mm and are applied to approximately every 1.0m of daylight width.
