Crawford provides a wide range of options and accessories to customise it to any customer‘s needs.
The door leaf is made from several sections of transparent PVC, connected with each other by horizontal aluminium ribs. Each section can be replaced independently. Coloured warning stripes are placed vertically on the left and right of the door leaf, and depending on the daylight width of the door leaf, one, two or three in the middle. Horizontal stripes are placed on the top and bottom of the door leaf and on all aluminium ribs.
The door leaf rolls up above the door opening and requires little space.
The RAL-colours are as close as possible to the official RAL HR collection. Max. deviation is 1,0 ΔE.
Side columns
The door leaf is guided horizontally by anodised aluminium side columns. When the door is opening or closing, the breakaway tabs on the bottom bar and the aluminium ribs on the door leaf slide through these side columns to keep the door leaf straight. They are connected to the wall.
It is designed for industrial environments with an intensive material flow requiring high speed door operation, maximum visibility and safe opening.

Side columns
The door leaf is guided horizontally by anodised aluminium side columns. When the door is opening or closing, the breakaway tabs on the bottom bar and the aluminium ribs on the door leaf slide through these side columns to keep the door leaf straight. They are connected to the wall.
- Break-away tabs: The bottom bar is equipped with flexible tabs which break away under impact. When a vehicle hits the door, the entire bottom bar will be pushed out of the side columns. The pneumatic sensor sends a signal to the operator and stops the door movement.
They can be manually repositioned into the tracks in a few seconds, without using tools. For safety reasons the door can only be operated again, after pressing the reset-button on the control unit.
- Fabric roll: It is installed in the header box above the door leaf. Its function is to roll up or down the door leaf by means of the operating system. The door leaf is tensioned by its own fabric and bottom bar weight.
- Header box cover: An optional steel header box cover is available to enclose the fabric roll and/or the operator.
