Options:
  • Hand Loading
To conform with H.S.E. requirements a loading hopper must be fitted with a charge box. This can either have an interlocked lid, which renders the machine inoperable if opened, or an interlocked safety bar, which cuts the machine operation if a body pressure in excess of 15psi is exerted against it.
  • Forklift Loading
Where the machine is to be loaded by forklift (usually with self-dumping or drop bottom bins) a reinforced loading hopper is fitted. The loading height is normally far higher than that required for hand loading hoppers.
  • Chute Loading
Chutes can be designed to feed the compactor from the side or the rear, generally at an angle of more than 40 degrees.
  • Dock Loading
In cases such as distribution centres, a system can be put in place to maximise efficiency, tidiness, and the effectiveness of your recycling program.
  • Hydraulic Loaders
Hydraulic loaders are available to suit many different sizes and types of wheeled bins. Where a large site is in need of compaction, the use of wheeled bins will help reduce double handling and labour costs plus improve tidiness and safety.
