ALEDA designs, produces and markets isothermal and refrigerating containers to transport all products in need of compliance with the cold chain.

Isothermal Containers
Containers with a structure composed of insulating walls which limit the heat exchange between the containers’ internal and external surfaces, protecting products from thermal variations. According to the global thermal transmission coefficient (K coefficient), the containers can be classified as:

• NI, Normal Isothermal, if the K coefficient is equal to or lower than 0,7 W/m² K
• RI, Reinforced Isothermal, if the K coefficient is equal to or lower than 0,4 W/m² K

Refrigerated Containers
Isothermal containers which, by means of a cold source (natural ice, eutectic plates, dry ice, liquefied gas, etc.) other than mechanical or "absorption" systems, cause a decrease of temperature in their interior.

The special single piece moulding structure of ALEDA containers and their structural details (seals, handles, reinforcements) are specifically designed to ensure perfect hygiene, high shock resistance and easy use.

The production range has three product lines:

• Transportherm
  vertical isothermal containers with frontal opening and capacities of 550, 780, 950, 1340 and 1640 litres
• Movitherm
  top loading horizontal isothermal containers with capacities of 150, 300 and 500 litres
• Boxitherm 85
  isothermal containers that can be used in three different positions (horizontal, vertical, top loading) with a capacity of 85 litres
